The Peru tour package is designed to make your vacation truly spectacular, combining various sights such as culture, adventure, hiking, archaeology. An amazing place to connect with the Andean tradition and also a unique environment, outdoor emotions and exceptional exchanges with real local people.
Welcome to the Incan city of Cusco, the cultural capital of Peru. Upon arrival we will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel to drop off your luggage and freshen up. After lunch and when you are ready, we will take a half-day tour of this incredible place while you acclimatize to the high altitude (3400 m / 11,155 ft).
We set off on our adventure in the city of Cusco and visit the following attractions:
The Cusco Cathedral
Located in the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, the cathedral is a colonial monument of great artistic value. It was built on the Inca Palace of Wiracocha and houses carved wooden works such as the choir, pulpit and altars, beautiful paintings from the Cusco School of Art (including a painting of the Last Supper in which Christ and his disciples eat guinea pig) and embossed silver works. This cathedral flanks the grandiose Plaza de Armas, the historical and cultural heart of Cusco.
Qoricancha Temple
This religious center was built to worship the Sun, the most revered deity during the Inca Empire. Inside the temple, you will find smaller temples dedicated to the sun, the moon, the stars, etc. Outside there are beautiful gardens and royal fountains on the grounds of the monumental temple. Here, the combination of extraordinary Inca architecture and Spanish colonial architecture is what stands out the most. In addition, the gallery of the Cusqueña School of Art offers you the opportunity to appreciate some of its colonial art pieces.
Sacsayhuaman
Located 2 km from the city of Cusco, this fortress was built with huge carved rocks joined together with captivating precision. It is composed of three superimposed platforms with an average length of 360 meters. In its construction, you can see stones up to 9 meters high! From here, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city of Cusco along with the beautiful landscape formed by the surrounding mountains.
Qenqo
Located 1.4 km from Sacsayhuaman, this complex was an Inca ceremonial cult center. The most prominent feature of this complex is an open space called an amphitheater. In its time, you would have found Inca mummies in the 19 trapezoidal niches found here. Today, the amphitheater is half of its original height.
Puka Pukara
This complex is known as the “red fortress” due to its reddish tones resulting from the large amount of iron in its rocks. It is thought that this fortress was perhaps an ancient Tambo (storage area) that served both as a resting place and as a lookout to protect Tambomachay. Here you can see attractive architecture, fountains, aqueducts and various Inca enclosures.
Tambomachay
This complex is made up of a combination of finely carved stones, waterfalls and aqueducts to carry water from the nearby springs and hot springs. For this reason, Tambomachay is associated with the cult of water. In front of this construction, there is a tower that is said to have served as a lookout post and communication tower.
After exploring the wonderful places, we will return to the door of your hotel.
We will start the day by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:30 a.m. and head towards the town of Pisac. Before arriving at Pisac, we will stop at the Qorao and Taray viewpoints, so you can admire the beauty of the Sacred Valley from afar and take pictures.
Once in Pisac, we will visit both the archaeological site of Pisac and its famous traditional market. Afterwards, we will head to the town of Urubamba for lunch.
We will then visit Chinchero and meet some of the town’s talented women at a textile making presentation. Here you will also visit an archaeological site and a colonial church.
Next, places like Moray and Maras await us to explore, after your tour, we will take you back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley, so you can rest for the next day’s exciting activities.
Your adventure will begin early, with pickup from your hotel at 6:00 a.m. We will depart to the town of Ollantaytambo. Here, we will board the train to km 104, the checkpoint and starting point of our trek.

Along the way, you will be surrounded by lush vegetation and high mountains, offering stunning views of the valley. Here, you will enjoy a tasty lunch, relax, and recharge your energy.
Next, we will continue walking to the Sun Gate, where you will have your first panoramic view of the impressive Machu Picchu. It will be a truly amazing experience! You will marvel at the ingenuity of the Incas in building such a wonder.
For now, we’ll head out to the exit to catch a bus to Aguas Calientes. Your hotel stay awaits, but first, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the town’s best restaurants. Make sure to get an early night’s rest, as you’ll wake up at dawn for your next adventure.
This day we will wake up early to make sure you avoid the crowds. You will wander the mysterious streets of the majestic historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu! You will walk a little from your hotel to catch a bus that will take you on a 25-minute ride to the entrance of the Inca citadel.
After soaking it all in and taking your first photographs, your guide will take you on a two-hour tour of the site. You will visit some of the most essential parts of Machu Picchu and learn all about its construction and history from your local expert. Once the tour is over, you can climb either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (pre-booked tickets required), each of which takes 2 and 3 hours to climb and descend, respectively. You will experience more impressive views of the entire Inca city from either of these locations.
When you are ready, it will be time to return by bus towards Aguas Calientes. You will have time to select a restaurant of your choice for a bite to eat before catching a train. You will arrive in Ollantaytambo by train and then a private transport will be there to pick you up and take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
Our adventure begins very early in the morning. We will pick you up from your hotel at 4:30 am and drive for two hours to Pitumarca and then another hour and a half to Alkatarwi, the starting point of the day’s hike.
While we make the final preparations before hitting the trail, our chef will prepare the delicious and nutritious breakfast that will give you all the energy you need to face the challenge ahead.
We will begin this stunning and little-known hike through a green valley from where you can see in the distance the majestic Ausangate glacier, the highest peak in the entire Cusco region. Along the way, you will observe several peasant communities and discover the deep connection with nature that characterizes Andean culture. Hundreds of alpacas and llamas will watch you at every step!
We will continue our journey to the first pass known as Paso Puka (4,870 m / 15,978 ft). From there, you will enjoy a truly breathtaking panorama where you will see the crystal-clear waters of the Pukaqocha Lagoon and the gigantic Ausangate Glacier right in front of you – you will surely be impressed! You will see how the waters of the lagoon originate from the snow of this sacred glacier.
After a short break, we will continue walking for another hour and a half downhill to Ananta, where we will stop for lunch. Once we have regained our energy, we will ascend for two more hours until we reach the highest point of the day’s route called Warmisaya Pass (4,955 m / 16,257 ft). From there, you will be able to see, for the first time and in the distance, the spectacular colours and the dreamlike image of the Rainbow Mountain known as Vinicunca.
We will descend for a final 30 minutes until we reach our campsite located next to the Surineqocha Lagoon. Later, you will enjoy a delicious dinner before a well-deserved night’s rest.
We will wake you up very early this morning, with a hot coca leaf tea in your tent. Then you will enjoy a delicious and nutritious breakfast prepared by our chef.
We will ascend for 1 hour to the viewpoint of the beautiful Rainbow Mountain 5,038 m – 16,528 ft. You will have time to explore and witness mind-blowing views of not only Rainbow Mountain itself, but also the mighty Ausangate Glacier and other snow-capped peaks surrounding that area. The 360° view from here is fantastic and you will enjoy it before the big groups arrive.
After enjoying this jewel in the middle of the Peruvian Andes, we will begin our hike to the fascinating Red Valley (5,010 m / 16,558 ft), a place that will make you feel like you are on another planet and is visited by very few tourists. You will be amazed not only by its incredible beauty but also by the immense tranquility that will surround you.
